Monday Fire Alarm

Monday, April 24, 2023 - We just wanted to provide an update that led to a disruption Monday afternoon at Athabasca Delta Community School. The Fire Department was dispatched to ADCS in response to a fire alarm at approximately 2:40 p.m.

Fire protocols were enacted immediately and effectively to ensure the safety of all of our staff and students. Students left the building and went to our designated meeting area by the Archie Simpson Arena. After a short delay to disarm our system, the fire department cleared re-entry into the building just in time for students to retrieve their personal belongings and depart for home. Please talk with your children to ensure they wear shoes inside the school and appropriate clothes for whatever the weather may bring.
